A Little Repair break!

Well... I have this adorable puppy who weighs 112 lbs and loves to chew on anything he can find. And he found the corner of my planning idea folder. It wasn't too bad, but I just couldn't stand all that fraying material. I had to see what I could do to make it more attractive. I forgot to photo the after math, but I did get a very sorry Baloo - I couldn't stay mad long.. I mean look at that face.

I started with the actual frayed corner. It was all torn woven material with some sort of internal foam stuff. Using hot glue I wrapped the corner in some light colored ribbon. then bordered the edges with this green. Loved the detail of the ribbon with the running stitch.

Loved it so much I decided to run the ribbon down the spine of the folder. Of course one thing led to another and ....

Whoops - I think my fun over flowed - LOL - just started to do the whole front. A little lace, ribbon and buttons. Loving it. That's all I did for now. But I had to show it off :) - might just leave as is. Simple and sweet. Now my idea folder has a little character.
